This course has been designed to take a very hands-on approach to learning English. English Hands-On places an emphasis on providing structured opportunities to put into practice what has been learned in the classroom.
Students attend classes in the morning where they are taught the functional language they need and in the afternoon are taken out to public places and encouraged to use this new language in conversation with members of the public, under the supervision of their teachers. This adds a real element of fun to the course, and works very well, boosting confidence and helping students to remember lessons.
Using new language in conversation is widely recognized as one of the most effective and efficient ways to improve language ability.
